FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Question: How will my package be delivered?
Answer: All U.S. orders will be shipped via FedEx in the continental U.S. only.
Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Post Office boxes and APO addresses will be shipped by US mail as follows:
1 item - $16.95, 2 items - $23.95, and 3 items - $28.95. $5.00 for each additional item(ie. 4 items will cost 33.95). International shipments will be shipped at actual cost. Please specify Air Mail or Surface Mail. (phone or email us for rates)
Question: How long will it take before I receive my order?
Answer: Normal shipping time in the continental U.S. is approximately 7-10 business days, depending on your location. Occasionally it can take longer depending on the Post Office.
Question: How will I know that my order has been received?
Answer: All internet orders are received “same day” and are processed within 24 hours of receipt. You will receive two responses via email. One will be from our system letting you know your order has been successfully received. The other email will come from one of our customer service representatives giving you a total of the order including all taxes and shipping charges and also any problems there may be in filling your order. Please review the statement to ensure that all items are correct.
Question: How do I order a new catalogue?
Answer: Please call us to order a new catalogue at 1-800-653-0251 or email us at cars@diecastbymail.com. If you have ordered a product from us within the last 18 months, you will automatically receive a free copy of each new catalogue we produce. For new customers, please call us and we will be happy to send you the most current catalogue. Shipping charges may apply.
Question: How do I return a parcel?
Answer: If you wish to return an item you may do so within 15 days. Fefore returning an item, please call us at 1-800-653-0251 between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday EST for a Return Authorization Number. The number must be clearly marked on teh outside of your box.

IMPORTANT -- Any items returned to us without a return authorization number will be refused and sent back to you.
Question: How big are the models?
Answer: Over 90% of the die cast models we sell at The Collector's Guild are 1:18 scale.
In the scale of a model, the number after the colon is the number that the model maker divided all the measurements of the real car by to make his model. “The higher the scale - the smaller the model”. 1:12 scale models normally range between 14" - 16", 1:18 scale between 9" - 11", 1:24 scale between 7" - 8", while 1:43 scale models are about 4" long. Whenever we carry a die-cast model that is not 1:18 scale, we will clearly indicate what scale it is.
